Sunny, hot.
We’re parked probably a little farther away than I’d like, opposite the south end of Princess Margaret beach. It’s pretty windy and rocky here, but the winds are fresh and it’s cool.
The next few days are pretty relaxed. Turns out NOT going to St. Lucia has taken a load off our minds and we seem to turn into sloths. Neither of us is feeling 100% and after doing our work-work in the mornings, we typically sloth around
James at Horizon in Grenada tells me our MPPT controller will arrive via a yacht called Pura Vida and a captain named Greg. This is the same guy and boat we sailed with last year out of St. Vincent! Small world.
I have been deteriorating physically again and the double rum punch the other night has created a gout flareup beyond compare (as I will find out). My left big toe and the knuckle there are red, inflamed and swollen. Coupled with the ankle injury at the Tobago Cays, I can barely walk.
Around 5 pm Friday Greg and Laura swing into the harbour and they give us the MPPT controller via a harbour vendor who just happens to be going by. We wave and shout hellos and say we’ll see them tomorrow. That’s Saturday, we are planning to go to St. Vincent to check it out and also to inquire about my missing ASA certification.

Later on we dinghy into town, find Pura Vida but Greg and Laura are not aboard.
Oh well, we go back to the Plantation for Happy Hour (4 beer special for EC$30 is great) and a pretty good pizza.

We do a fair bit of walking around, but take it easy. Some pics below.
