Christy and Perry are two souls with a long history of seeing the world as travelers, not tourists. But we started a family in the early days of Y2K and although we travelled a ton as a family, our independent adventures took a back seat as we enjoyed the challenges and joys of raising two kids to adulthood.

But then one day on our 20th anniversary in Grenada, we recalled that we intended to sail the world one day. That started the initiative we call empty nesters adventures as we prepared to fulfill that dream once the rats were out of the house.

Three years later we are getting close to fulfilling that dream.

We’ve got nearly all our sailing pedigrees fulfilled as well as a bit of experience. We’re now ready to finish the last step of our sailing training and generally get read to spend less time working, more time funning.
