This day is not terribly notable except for a couple small things.

It was very windy overnight and very gusty. The gusts must be blowing 40 kts or better. We don’t think too much of it, don’t check the weather as we’re just going to motor around to Le Marin.

Well, it’s hooping out around the corner. Wind is easily 30 kts steady in our face and we’re rocking and rolling. The best we can do is about 4 kts without working the engine too hard. Other boats beside us are struggling too.

Takes a good 4 hours to make the 2 hour trip. It’s still very windy but we anchor out by St. Anne as near to the beach as we can, thought we don’t go in.
