Up early, a little disgruntled, didn’t sleep well, don’t like our anchorage, buncha sh*t not working. I poke away at a few things and we wile away the morning, not doing too much computer work as the cell service sucks in this bay.
We talked about walking around the headland to Petit Anse but it’s hot now and we’ve left it too late. Instead, we will walk north through the village, see if there is a gas station and try to find the path that apparently goes to the next bay on the north end.
There is no gas station, there is no path that we can find. No problem, we walk back along the beach and eventually settle not far from the pier.
We swim, hang out, watch the fat tourists that are shuttled in from a cruise ship somewhere.
After an hour or so we meander down to Christy’s favourite bar to get an early dinner. Except she has bet me they won’t be open for food. I think that is crazy, but then again, we’re in France and turns out she is right. So the bet was for dinner, but we can’t eat here, they closed the kitchen at 4 pm. So we have some beverages, including a very good cappuccino, and then start looking for somewhere else to eat. There is nothing open that doesn’t have a sand floor and it’s a beautiful, full moon night so we decide just to go back to Milu, Christy will make pasta and we can enjoy the evening without spending a lot of money on pretty average food.

It is a beautiful night. In bed early of course, but I am up a few times and the moon is fantastic, on a pretty calm night.
