Feb 28, 2023 – Tobago Cays to Petit St. Vincent

Christy, Ian and I snorkel with the turtles in the morning – Stephen and Colby elect to study. We all have to spend some time doing that as we need to pass exams. Christy and I have to write 2, Stephen and Colby 4. Christy and I wrote our first one in Tobago Cays.

Snorkeling is ok, see some turtles. Getting to be old hat – this is the third time we have snorkeled here.

We’re off soon enough for the short sail to PSV. Do some Crew Overboard maneuvers in the fairly sheltered waters behind PSV. Different on a cat and impossible to do the Figure 8 they teach for the course but which nobody uses. We do Falling Leaf instead.

About to snorkel (zat a verb?) to PSV beach – private bar in the background. Rich Russian Oligarchs will visit there later. We’re not welcome.

After anchoring Christy and I snorkel swim to shore and explore the very nice beach. PSV is a private island owned by an upscale resort but all beaches in SVG are open to the public. Swim back, dinner, sleep.

From the north end of the beach on PSV – that’s Union and Palm Islands in the background
She won’t let me shave, honest.
On PSV. Willow Dew and private bar in background
