Every now and then we make the right decision. We were supposed to camp two nights at the Myrtle Beach State Park which is awesome – right on the beach and close to downtown. But with a gloomy forecast we elected for the solid roof, wi-fi and indoor plumbing (and hot tub).
Good decision. Today is, uh, nasty. Not cold but driving wind and rain and we would have been tent-bound all day with not much to do. Instead, we were warm and dry and at least I got a ton done. Edging closer to putting the notebook away while on vacation.
And what’s this? A coffee maker?!? How civilized. No filters but I can make one of those.
We were thinking of a comedy club/dinner but it’s just too nasty. Maybe if it calms down we’ll go for another late night hot tub. Or not.

No pics today cuz the inside of this room is not really noteworthy. Instead, I offer two from our last days in Huntsville, Ontario in late October.
