Here is one of the things we found we had to change. US$1500 in chain. Sigh.

The bottom of the chain locker was full to a depth of almost two feet of rust. Christy and I took turns climbing down in there and scooping out the rust. I was a little concerned that once I climbed down in there I wouldn’t be able to climb out again.
