Hey it’s 22-11-22! I notice these things.

Another grey but mild day. Checkout time is 10 am but we take our time until 10:45 or so – we’re taking Liz to the airport as it’s on the way and she has a late flight. No need to drop her off 5 hours early.

Drive to Orlando environs, have a nice lunch (with another $5 coffee), drop Liz off and hit the highway headed for Homestead which is south of Miami, just north of the Keys. Lotsa traffic, especially around Miami as we hit there right around rush hour. Christy driving, a bit stressful as directions are not always clear even with GPS. Make it to Homestead around 7 pm, both glad to get out of the car.

We’re staying at the Garden Inn – two-decker motel which, aside from my campsites is probably going to be our cheapest accommodations for the trip. Spotlessly clean, fully equipped, maybe a bit stabby, it is just fine for our purposes. We nosh on weekend leftovers, plan the next couple days, read a bit and that was the end of that.

Forgot to turn on the Relive tracker until we were well south of Orlando but you get the idea.
