A beautiful day, no trace of the rain from the last few days.
It’s the last day for the Beaches ladies in Grenada. I screw up the top up for my phone plan so we have no Internet until we get to LPB. So we can’t communicate with them to see if they want to go adventuring on their last day. I suspect not, since it is a pricey two-way cab ride to get hot, sweaty and salty, then return to LPB for cleanup and dash to the airport..
Sure enough, when we get there they are content to chill on the beach at LPB, get breakfast at the restaurant when it opens, and generally relax until it is time to go. Turns out they stayed up after we left them and continued into the night somewhat. None of them are feeling terribly good.
That is perfectly acceptable to us. We lounge by the sea until the restaurant opens at 11 am.

Time for a Perry-collage …

… and a La Phare Bleu collage …

… and a drone collage …

.. and finally a decent panorama shot of La Phare Bleu, Calvigny and Woburn Bay. If you know what you’re looking for you can see Milu in the heart of Woburn Bay
At 3 pm Vie arrives to take the ladies to the airport. He has been great, especially as the girls tease him about his lack of Eminem knowledge. Fond farewells, it has been a great week.
Christy and I dinghy back to Milu, clean up a bit and then decide to go to Hog Island to be sociable. We’ll just take 1 beer each as we have been drinking pretty solidly for the last 5 days. When we arrive there’s a kids birthday party going on and pretty much every sailor in Woburn is there. We meet some old and new friends and end up staying for 3 or 4 beers. Oh well, it’s fun and good to meet people.
We’re talking to Frank and we tell him about our encounter with the extremely drunk woman by Nimrod’s two Thursdays ago. Turns out she is well known and this is not the first time. Apparently, if you try to help her she will bite you – she was all smiles with me, guess she knew she was not going to make it. Frank confirmed what Bob said about several people a year dying after Thursday night at Nimrod’s (although this woman was stumbling at 4 pm). He points her out, she’s there on the island. Not long for this world methinks.
We’re back on Milu before dark.
