We take the dinghy over to Woburn and park at the Island View dock. Stop at the Treasure Trove to see what they have but don’t buy anything. Grab the bus into town where we go to Ace, Island Water World and Higgins. We buy some stuff to hopefully catch lobsters.
The route is:
- #2 bus from Woburn to downtown
- Walk around downtown, do banking, go to Ace Hardware
- Walk through tunnel to Carenage, go to Hubbards Hardware
- Walk along Carenage to the #1 bus pickup point
- #1 bus to Higgins Grocery by Port Louis
- Walk back to Island Water World
- Short walk between the gas stations to the #2 bus pickup point
- #2 bus back to Woburn
We decide to buy some used snorkel gear from the guy at Treasure Trove. We buy some stuff but he won’t haggle (he’s not very well liked around town). My flippers cut my foot and my mask kills me so hopefully the new one will work better.
