Today is Walking Club Day but we’re not going as stuff to do here.
Plus I’ve volunteered to help Donita move her friend Dave’s boat from anchor out in the bay to the pier near us. At 7:30 am I meet Donita and her friend Jackie who are both cacklers and we have a few laughs on the way. Takes about an hour to move him onto the dock.
Martin arrives fairly early and sets to work as he wants to get done by noon. That’s good cuz we’ve got company coming this afternoon for a bit of a nosh and swim at the pool.
Rather vague memories of what we did between 10 am and 3 pm except I did replace the gangway plank from the pier to the dock and Christy went to get some more groceries for our friends that are coming over this afternoon.
Martin finishes in decent time and he is grateful to be done, and so are we. He did a pretty good job considering he had to do it from the dinghy in a continuous wind and I promise him when we go back on the hard some day in the future, I’ll get him to redo it properly.
Around 3 pm we meet Anna-Marie, Nigel, Jim and Amanda at the dinghy dock then go up to the Secret Harbour pool for a swim and couple beers. Afterwards, they come back to Milu for some more chatting, nosh and a couple drinks. Everybody in this crew wide awake. Thankfully nobody likes to dinghy at night so the evening wraps up at a decent time.
