We’re up early every day and today we get on the water early (after usual repump of the dinghy) to go to Island Water World to look for parts to connect the new pressure tank. Take the good ol’ Number 2 bus in, they have what we need and we buy a bunch of other stuff there, including rope replacement for the traveler, a small rod for fishing in the bays and some whatnots and watchamacallits.

Christy won’t let me buy a spear gun.
Soon enough we’re back at the Island View dock and motor back to Milu. Takes me about 20 minutes to reconnect the water and adjust the pressure tank. Glad to have the new tank there, I was always a bit nervous about the old one. Just another thought tho, for a long crossing – need the ability to get water out of the tanks if a pump, fitting or tank blows.
Meanwhile we are back and forth with Michael’s guys who come in and out every day to adjust the new bimini and dodger.
After they leave for the last time today, we decide to take a stab at fixing the bow thrusters. The forward berth is all torn apart as I need to get underneath to get at the wiring so would be good to close that up. We get out the headsets and I monkey with the wires and right away both sides are working. Pretty good day! Glad to clean up the cabin, at the beginning of the day the floor was up in the salon and the forward berth was in upheaval. Now all clean.
