Poking away at problems again today as many days. We end up going in and out of the marina at least 4 times today. Once to ferry Ben and Astrid, once to pay our mooring fees (found out yesterday it is NOT free) and another time because we didn’t realize we needed boat registration papers to pay mooring fees AND set up receiving for the part we shipped. I’m sure there was another time but can’t remember now.

Trying to get a few things done as everything is closed tomorrow and Wednesday for carnival – Mardi Gras and Ash Wednesday. In fact, on our last trip back to Milu we wanted to fill up our gas tanks but the gas dock is lined up about 4 deep with people trying to do the same in anticipation of no gas for the next 2 days. We can wait.
Dinghy is working great and the motor is fine, though I should do some maintenance on it. I’ll see if I can get a maintenance kit from the local Yamaha dealer. Only problem with dinghying is it absolutely kills my neck and shoulder. Using my left arm to drive the boat (the normal way) kills my shoulder, driving from the other side kills my neck. Today is a very bad day and I take a few shots of ASA. I found some neck and shoulder exercises so trying them.
It’s only been two months …
No hits on the sale of our old dinghy. We’re trying to find a window to go over the Isle de Cochon next door and do some repairs but it has been too windy.
