First day of spring! Not noticeable here but hopefully Huntsville is warming up.
It’s a pretty nice anchorage here, the water is crystal clear and not nearly as rolly as I thought it would be. There was a guy with a megaphone in town last night and a bit of music on the beach but they all stopped at reasonable hours.

In the morning we head into town, hit the Saturday market and the U Express and Carre Four Express. Got more coffee!
We have great plans for hikes etc. but they will have to wait for next season. Christy wants to go to the beach so late in the afternoon we head on over. I wanted to mount the whisker pole as it is pretty calm but that too, will have to wait. Maybe Rodney Bay.
The weather is ok, overcast, so the beach is actually fairly comfortable, not too hot. We head to the east side of the beach where it is not so steep and crowded so we can pull the dinghy up without too much trouble. It’s a haul but good to know we can drag it up even a pretty steep beach. My shoulders are both killing me so I elect not to swim though I would like too – haven’t been getting any exercise other than walking and hauling on ropes. Christy goes for a bit of a swim.
Weather starts to come in and it’s clearly going to rain. We start to pack up as the rain commences lightly, make it back to Milu largely dry. The rain does not deter the Saturday night crowd on the beach from blasting their awful music but it is tolerable.
