Another great day in Grenada.

We deke into town via the bus and get some groceries and another auto-bilge pump at IWW. We’re planning on heading to Cariacou tomorrow so want to get the boat ready.

Sure enough I bought the 3/4″ bilge pump when I wanted the 1″ but luckily the manual bilge is 3/4″ so I swap the pipes. Of course, without the backflow preventer a bunch of water still comes back down the manual side, but we’re not going to sink.

I try to pull out the mainsail to test it but it doesn’t come all the way – it’s jammed near the end. But it opens 90%, that will do for now.

I am now updating this on the 19th of February, 2025 so there’s not going to be much detail.
