Up early, workout, swim, coffee. Pack the car and get ready to roll. Got about 3 hours to go to hit the Coral Castle and then on to Delray Beach. Liked it here tho, even our quirky little Coconut Cove hotel.
2 hours later we’re at the Coral Castle which is pretty interesting, a little tiny guy built it, then moved it. I find out after the reason Christy wanted to come here was because apparently the 5’2″ guy used mind control to move the 10 ton blocks by himself. He knew the secret of the Egyptians. Our tour guide is very good, very animated and I’m sure he’s maneuvering for a tip but he never puts his hand out.

Onwards to Delray Beach where we meet Steve and Pat Woodhouse around 4 pm, get cleaned up a bit and head down to Atlantic Ave. for dinner and drinks by bike.
I don’t think I have the words to describe Atlantic Avenue at night. It is absolutely hopping with every kind of people you can imagine. I can’t remember something like it – Barcelona maybe. But very safe, just electric. We have a couple drinks and something to eat at Farm House (excellent) and just people watch. Then on to Throw Social, pretty much a circus of entertainment and, not debauchery, but close. It would appear that everyone around here is “in the market” if you know what I mean. You would think just young people but all kinds. Steve and I restrain ourselves as obviously we are the target of much attention. Tour the streets a bit more, watch some live music.
Took a few pics but none really capture the night. In other words they weren’t flattering of at least one of us. Maybe this video.
Cycle back to the Chalet for a final final and off to bed where we sleep the sleep of the dead.
