Liz’s last day in Grenada so we spend the morning getting ready and generally taking it easy. It has been an action-packed 9 days and we’re somewhat grateful for the overcast skies so there is no pressure to do anything.
Around 11:30 am we head in to Secret Harbour for lunch and so Christy and Liz can share pics over their wi-fi. I also fix my Digicel connection which wasn’t working and use my PC on their ‘net. The kitchen doesn’t open until noon but they give us some cappucinos to get started. We order lunch and then do the usual thing – wait for delivery. George is coming at 1 pm to take Liz to the airport so lots of time.
Of course, the food doesn’t arrive until late but there is time to eat, barely. Liz graciously buys us lunch which is very kind. Some tearful goodbyes, I think Liz really appreciated the trip. The sail from St. Vincent down through the Grenadines is truly one of the best anywhere and we had nearly perfect weather. There was lots to do and she was always game so it made for a great week. She didn’t even mind getting beer soaked at the Hash.
Soon enough it’s time to go find George. He is in the parking lot so we say our goodbyes and she is off.
Back on MIlu the weather is still iffy and we don’t do much but take it easy.
