Ontario has been snowing and cold for days and the forecast for Toronto is calling for something like 40 cm of snow today. Keep checking the flight but it keeps saying On Time so off we go. We depart the condo just after 6 AM, pretty easy drive cuz it’s early, it’s Sunday and the wise people stay home.
We’re driving Scott’s truck and the plan is to leave it at Park ‘n’ Fly Valet for him. I drop off Christy with our bags at the terminal and go to drop the truck. Oops, need a reservation. Don’t have one, have never needed one at Park ‘n’ Fly before. I hastily download the sh*tty Park ‘n’ Fly app but the only spot I can get is Lot B, a non-valet lot a couple km away. Luckily, I’ve got Scott on WhatsApp and we agree where to put the keys. It’s a f*cking blizzard now and I’m glad I decided to take my coat with me cuz I have to wait in a bus shelter for the Park ‘n’ Fly shuttle and it’s pretty nasty out.

A bit stressful but we’ve actually got lots of time and before you know it, Christy and I are inside, checked through and having a coffee and bagel.
2 hours late leaving Pearson including de-icing time but thankfully George is waiting for us in Grenada and carries us over to Secret Harbour, shuttles us out to Milu where we dump everything and pretty much go to bed.
It’s warm here! Apparently been blowing like crazy for weeks and tonight is no exception but no matter what, there is no worry about pipes freezing.
