Might as well be specific about where we are …

George told us it has been very windy for weeks and last night was no exception. We were rockin’ in Mt. Hartman Bay but the morning seems a little easier.
First job is to get the dinghy in the water otherwise we’re stranded so I work on that while Christy works inside. The wind has come up by the time we’re ready to launch but it’s not too bad and before you know it, the half-inflated dinghy is floating. Takes another 45 minutes or so to rig up a harness to get the 9.9 Yamaha down but that goes pretty smoothly. Freaks me out a bit when I can’t find gas but the last cannister under the pile says “Gas” and is full. The lovely engine starts after 4 or 5 pulls.
This written two weeks later … I suppose we met with Jim and Amanda, I suppose we went and got some groceries.
