Beautiful weather again. Seems the winds have calmed down.

Today we do some chores and in the afternoon dinghy over to Hog Island to explore a bit. We’ve never walked on it, I used to think the bar owners could drive to the beach from the bridge but apparently not.

We find the trail from behind the bars through the mangroves and head out. It is very nice, the trail is pretty well worn and certainly not drivable. We find a couple beaches along the southeast coast and think about coming back to snorkel here.

Walk around to the north east side and there is a small beach bar hut clearly built by and for the locals. Pretty nice, decent beach, no one around. They have cooking areas and fish cleaning areas. I assume they can drive to this spot and later see the road goes there but we doubt anything but a small tank could make the trip now.
