Christy has the brainwave to leave Bequia for St. Lucia tonight at midnight. Full moon (almost) and the tide is favourable for when we will cross the channels. It’s a good plan.
A bunch of stuff to do and get ready. We have a burnt out port nav light so need to get that working. Everything else on Milu is running pretty good.
Cell networks are down and I have some work I have to do so I dash back in to Maria’s to have a coffee and use their excellent WiFi.
Later, Christy and I go in for some chores. I end up criss-crossing Port Elizabeth a couple times looking for the bulb (1157a?) but can’t find one, but do find a couple of interesting new supply shops. Thinking about it more, I’ve come to think it’s probably the wiring anyway, since it’s an LED bulb and why would it burn out? We check out of Bequia, get some more stuff like the filled propane tank and head back to Milu.

We’re all set so dinghy onto Princess Margaret beach and actually just chill for a couple hours, have a swim, read a book. A dog adopts us and settles on our towel but eventually gets bored and moves on. Even one of the locals thinks it’s funny.

Eventually we head back to Milu where we have an early meal, then both do some napping. We’ll get up at 11 pm to get ready to depart.
